Error message:
FMAIN: Actual pouring temperature below the freezing temperature, aborting.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
For the mold filling program, initial temperature of the liquid metal coming through the inlet into the mold cavity must be higher than the freezing temperature. Freezing temperature is defined as a temperature below which no flow of metal can take place. Setting of the freezing temperature saves some CPU time and compensates for inaccurate viscosity data in the solidus-liquidus interval. For some optional modules of MAGMASOFT®, the freezing temperature is fully viscosity dependent (MAGMAthixo).
  The value of the freezing temperature is set (by default) at:
  Tfreeze = Tsol + 0.25*(Tliq - Tsol)
  You can alter the value of the Tfreeze by setting the required value (formula) in the 'Flow Properties' entry of the material database. The formula used there is as follows:
  Tfreeze = K0 + K1*p + K2*p2
  Where: K0, K1, K2 are constants and p denotes static pressure. The constant K0 can be set to the required freezing temperature [temperature can be made to be a function of the static pressure, in these cases the constants K1 and K2 can be set to give an appropriate "freezing line". The dependency of Tfreeze on the static pressure is important primarily for polymeric materials.

Error No.: 988
Error message:
INDATA: Actual pouring temperature below or equal to the solidus temperature, aborting.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
Initial temperature of the liquid metal is below the solidus temperature of this material. Everything having a temperature lower than the solidus temperature must be a solid per definition, so no filling in this case is possible. In MAGMASOFT®, we define an additional temperature, the so-called freezing temperature (Tfreeze). At the temperature Tfreeze, the permeability of the metal matrix is so low that nothing can flow through (see the description of the error #987 for more information on Tfreeze).
  To be meaningful, the pouring temperature must be not only higher than the solidus temperature but higher than the freezing temperature as well.

The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, is either damaged or comes from a non-compatible (older) version of the program.

Restart from an invalid 'dump' file.
Actions:

There is no way to restart the calculations with your current installation of MAGMASOFT®. You must rerun the filling simulation from the very beginning.

Error No.: 991
Error message:
RESTAR: The dump file contains optional module specific data. Invoke appropriate optional module of MAGMASOFT®.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, contains some module specific data. Some modules of MAGMASOFT® cannot be switched off at run time. Primarily, the modules that the program can complain about are the MAGMAhpdc and MAGMAthixo modules.
Error cause:
R.1
Restart of the calculations using different module from the one that wrote the 'dump' file.
Actions:
R.1
Activate the correct module of MAGMASOFT®. To do this, please choose appropriate entry from the 'simulation' menu on the main menu list of MAGMASOFT®.

Error No.: 992
Error message:
RESTAR: The dump file does not come from the required module of MAGMASOFT®.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, does not contain any module specific data. Most of the modules of MAGMASOFT® cannot be switched on during the restart of calculations. You should switch them on from the beginning of calculations.
Error cause:
R.1
Restart of the calculations using different module that the one that wrote the 'dump' file.
Actions:

Activate the correct module of MAGMASOFT®. To do this, please choose appropriate entry from the 'simulation' menu on the main menu list of MAGMASOFT®.

Error message:
RESTAR: The dump file does not contain venting-related data. Venting cannot be activated for the restart.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, does not contain any venting specific data. Venting option should be active from the very beginning of mold filling simulation of current project (cycle).
Error cause:
R.1
Switching on the 'Venting' option for the restart.
Actions:
R.1
Switch off the 'Venting' option and restart mold filling.
  Switch on the 'Venting' option and start the calculations from the very beginning.

Error No.: 994
Error message:
RESTAR: The venting option has been deactivated.
Error type: Warning
Error description:
Venting option can be switched off at run time. The program disregards all the venting-related data structures and continues calculations.
  One cannot switch the venting option back on later unless the restart will take place from the same 'dump' file. Please note that MAGMASOFT® automatically writes the 'dump' files to the disk at specified intervals, so it is possible that your original 'dump' file will be overwritten with a new one (having no venting structures).
  The program issues this warning message purely for informational purposes.
Error cause:

Switching off the 'Venting' option in the 'options' window.
Actions:

Confirm the message and leave the program running.
  Confirm the message and stop the program. If you want the venting option back on, select the 'Venting' option in the 'options' window and restart the program.

Error message:
RESTAR: The dump file does not contain permeability-related data. Permeability cannot be activated for the restart.
Error type: Fatal error
Error description:
The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, does not contain any permeability specific data. Permeability option should be active from the very beginning of the mold filling simulation of current project (cycle).
Error cause:
R.1
Switching on the 'Sand Permeability' option in the 'options' window.
Actions:
R.1
Switch off the 'Sand Permeability' option and restart.
  Switch on the 'Sand Permeability' option and start the calculations from the very beginning.

Error No.: 996
Error message:
RESTAR: The permeability option has been deactivated.
Error type: Warning
Error description:
Permeability option can be switched off at run time. The program disregards all the permeability related data structures and continues calculations.
  One cannot switch the permeability option back on later unless the restart will take place from the same 'dump' file. Please note that MAGMASOFT® automatically writes the 'dump' files to the disk at specified intervals, so it is possible that your original 'dump' file will be overwritten with a new one (having no permeability structures).

Error description:
The 'dump' file, from which you tried to restart the calculations, has some damaged sections. The sections seem to contain information that can be derived from the already restored data. The filling program can perform an autocorrection of the damaged structures.
  This action, in majority of the cases, is a safe recovery and does not lead to any loss of information.
Error cause:
R.1
Unspecified error in the 'dump' file.
Actions:
R.1
Confirm the message and let the program do the recovery of damaged data for you. Afterwards, the program will continue the simulation.
